Location
Our 2020 camp location is Bohol, Philippines!
Known as a haven of natural beauty, Bohol is also famous for its many white-sand beaches and beautiful islands. It’s also home to the world-renowned chocolate hills and is known as a sanctuary for the world’s cutest primates, the tarsiers. Outside of training, you’ll be spending your time lounging on white sand beaches, island hopping and snorkeling, and touring the island to visit many of its natural wonders. This all comes as part of your registration package!
During our off-hours, you can also enjoy some of the island’s other perks, including delicious fresh foods, massage and spa services, and entertaining nightlife alongside some of the frendliest people on the planet.
Accomodations
In choosing our partner resort, we really put a focus on a few things – location, comfort, convenience, and easy access to everything we want to do on our training vacation (train-cation).
You will be staying at one of the most unique and fun resorts on Panglao Island in Bohol. The resort offers villa-style accommodations inside buildings using furniture made of bamboo and other native materials. We will have options for those wanting their own room or sharing with a significant other. There will also be shared options for those that don’t mind rooming with other campers as well. (yes, you can choose your own roommates if traveling with a group)
As far as food goes, we’ll be providing everything for you while on the resort and on tour excursions. Our partner resort is known for delicious meals, but is also known for being eco-friendly so most everything you eat will be organically-grown and pesticide free – including vegetables from their own gardens.
Regarding amenities, they offer plenty including the standards – like their own pool, restaurant, and dive shop. As an eco-friendly resort, they also have their own farm and produce their own native products like bottled produce, weaved hammocks, honey, etc. They even make their own locally-famous ice cream!
Optional on-site activities include horseback riding, diving, and a spa on-site if you want to reserve an affordable massage after a hard-day of training.
Note: We will have a limited # of rooms at our partner resort #1 – allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Should we go over that limit for camp, we will also arrange rooms at another partner resort very close by and handle transportation for all camp activities.
